In April of 2021, I started my platform "The Joy Project", where I serve my community, create instagram content, and most importantly, inspire others to believe that their circumstances do not determine their joy. Joy is not based on our circumstances. Ever since then, joy has not only been my brand but my purpose. When starting my initiative, it was equally for 16 year old Sam, as much as it was for others.

In a world where we often find ourselves surrounded by challenges and uncertainties, there is one powerful force that can cut through the darkness like a beacon of light - joy. It is the key to unlocking happiness and spreading positivity in the lives of others. The Joy Project, is my community service initiative that aims to inspire people through social media and outreach projects, teaching us that true joy should not depend on our circumstances.

In the last two years, The Joy Project obtained over 300 service hours. As we inspire volunteerism through generations we continue to impact the world that joy is obtainable. We continue to value the light that shines when joy is prevalent through others. We have partnered and worked with many organizations to bring joy to others such as, The Los Angeles Children Hospital, The heart Association, Harvest Home, Toys for Tots, and Our House Grief Support.

The Joy Project has taught us a fundamental truth - joy transcends circumstances. While hardships and challenges may dampen our spirits momentarily, our ability to find joy in the little things and share it with others is an empowering force that can overcome any obstacle.
